After a total of about 11 hours in the air we are officially in Brussels, Belgium! Let the European experience begin!
My parents dropped us off at the airport at Noon on Wednesday the 29th and we arrived in Belgium at 9 A.M. on Thursday the 30th (Belgium Time-about 1 A.M. Utah Time)
We went from SLC to Chicago-3.5 hours. Chicago to Brussels-8.5 hours.
Wow... bags from over 6 flights somehow all ended up on one baggage claim belt! It was extremely crowded! And I swear we heard every language known... Chinese, Hebrew, German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian... and the list goes on! We ended up finding our bag after 2 hours of waiting and filing a missing bag claim. Someone had taken it off the belt and never put it back on!! We are just so happy we found it and have all of our luggage!
Ten minute walk from our apartment... The Grand Place!!
Grand Place after Christmas and getting ready for the New Year Party!
A fun street we went down.
Where's Eric?!
St. Catherines
Do I fit in?!

Saint Michael and Gudula Cathedral

We are so excited to be here and look forward to all the amazing experiences we are going to have here in Brussels and throughout our travels in Europe!

I just thought I should take a little time to BRAG about my wonderful husband. So, for most people, math is not their best subject. Eric falls into this category. He has always hated math and has put it off until this semester when he had to take it. Since he went on a mission he had to re-test to get back into Math 1050. If you don't do math for a year or even like 6 months, it is hard to remember anything. So after three years Eric has to take this math placement test. He took the test 4 times until he passed. Then he told me that he was determined to get an A in math this year because he has never done it and wants an A. This means he had to work extra hard because math doesn't come as easy to him. But he did it. He got an A in Math of the most failed classes at USU. He also has two other grades posted which he has worked for and has A's.

Way to go my smart little man!!!

On to another adventure!!!

This week has been one busy week. We finished up our classes, studied for our finals, took our finals and moved out of our place. It is very sad to be leaving Logan, our cute place and our friends. It was so sad to see our first place empty. Eric drove the U-haul down to Lindon and we are storing ALL of our stuff in my parents basement. Thanks Mom and Dad. And now we are just visiting family and celebrating the holidays until we leave in a little less than 2 weeks!!
Our empty Apartment.:(

All of our stuff PACKED into the U-haul
The 3 amazing strong men that moved all of our stuff out. Thanks Eric, Greg, and D'sean!!
Niki and Chez had us over for dinner one last time before we left and we went and got ice cream.
They are our best couple friends in Logan and we are going to miss them a lot. We love them and love their friendship. We saw them/hung out with them probably everyday. We will sure miss them.

So our next adventure is Belgium!!! So excited and ready to travel.

Christmas Devotional

Eric and I got four tickets for the Christmas devotional so we thought it would be fun to invite my parents to meet us there. Brynn came along as well and just found a ticket when we got there. It was a very good devotional and we were so happy to be with my parents and Brynn. After we went and looked and the lights and took alot of pictures. My parents are the best. And It is never a dull minute when Brynn is there:)

My wonderful Parents

It was a really foggy night so the pictures are not that great. But it was a wonderful night. Love you Mom, Dad, and Brynn!!

She is so precious. I just love her. Can't wait to see her this break. Nannette... Can I babysit??
